Job summary

The role focuses on quality undergraduate instruction and student mentorship within MLS and related health sciences disciplines. The candidate must hold a Master’s degree (Doctoral preferred) with MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification, plus teaching and clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Evidence of high-quality undergraduate teaching in applied health sciences or MLS.
• Experience with student mentorship and assessment in higher education.
• MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
• Clinical practice experience in medical laboratory science is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in B.S. Applied Health Sciences with MLS emphasis.
• Teach MLS courses; preferred Immunohematology and Molecular Diagnostics.
• Contribute to accreditation and program assessment activities.
• Deliver evidence-based, student-centered instruction and provide timely feedback to students.
• Engage in committee work, curriculum development, and student recruitment.
