Job summary

Dell Technologies in Round Rock, TX is seeking an ISG Hardware Engineering Undergraduate Intern for 2027. You’ll work on analogue and digital hardware, contribute to end-to-end projects, and learn from mentors while exploring AI-enabled design workflows.

You'll engage in hardware–software interaction, use Creo/SolidWorks and testing tools, and have a chance to join the ISG Rotation Program if offered a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering/CS undergrad with graduation date Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• At least one scripting language (Python, PERL or Bash).
• Understanding of hardware–software interactions and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues.
• Reading and understanding engineering specs, data sheets and other technical docs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in design, thermals and/or controls; experience in Creo/SolidWorks, Flowtherm/Icepack and/or Simulink modeling.
• Direct experience with x86 or ARM architectures and chipsets, schematic tools, PCB layout tools, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Demonstrate AI literacy and proactive use of AI tools to optimize hardware design and testing workflows.
