Job summary

Holt CAT is seeking an Undercarriage Field Tech 1 to perform on-site repairs of undercarriage components for all brands of equipment. You will disassemble, inspect, and reassemble parts, produce service reports, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

The role requires strong tool proficiency, teamwork, and the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks. Travel with possible overnight stays is expected; high school diploma and 1–5 years of repair experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–5 years of heavy construction equipment repair experience preferred.
• Own a broad assortment of tools and specialized tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic undercarriage repairs on all brands of equipment at the customer site.
• Disassembles, inspects, repairs, and assembles undercarriage components.
• Prepares service reports and any other necessary paperwork.
• Maintains all company equipment, tools, and work areas in good order.
• Travel is required for this position with possible overnight stays.
