Job summary

HOLT CAT in Little Elm, TX is seeking an Undercarriage Shop Technician 2 to diagnose and repair heavy equipment undercarriage in a shop setting. The role includes operating build-up/rebuild machines, disassembling and assembling components, and documenting service reports.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of undercarriage experience. Candidates should own a basic toolset, follow safety policies, and work Monday–Friday 7am–4pm.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to broad range repairs on equipment undercarriage and undercarriage components.
• Operates undercarriage build-up and rebuild machines, and all tooling and machines used in undercarriage rebuilding.
• Assist in disassembling, cleaning, inspections, repairs, and assembles undercarriage components.
• Evaluates, measures, and monitors undercarriage conditions.
• Works as a member of a team to provide basic to broad technical and mechanical services that satisfies customer needs and achieves departmental goals.
• Prepares service reports and any other necessary paperwork.
• Maintains all company equipment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working order.
• Performs and completes all tasks with minimum supervision.
• Provides assistance, coaching, and mentoring to Undercarriage Technician 1.
• Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
