Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics for our state-of-the-art service centers in the Mentor, OH area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire services.

Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of experience or training and possess a solid toolbox. ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent.
• Extensive personal toolbox for performing undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks; dismount/mount tires and balance.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Lift heavy items and work in a physical, hands-on environment.
