Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics for our Mentor, OH locations. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services, including brakes, struts, and tire-related work, while also handling state inspections and routine maintenance.

The role requires a toolbox of personal tools and at least 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair, with ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Two years of automotive repair experience and/or related training, or equivalent combination.
• Extensive personal tool box required for undercar repairs.
• Preferred ASE certifications in maintenance, suspension/steering and brakes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state inspections and routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes.
• Check fluids, replace worn parts, and rotate/balance tires as needed.
