Job summary

Stellantis Kokomo is seeking a UPE Engineering Group Lead to guide the Manufacturing Engineering group in developing and launching processes for safe, high-quality powertrain programs, meeting cost, schedule, and delivery targets.

You will oversee RFQs, equipment design/installation, and facilities management for NM and NNM programs, leading cross-functional teams and advancing SIS methodologies, root-cause problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical equivalent.
• Minimum FIVE (5) years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum THREE (3) years' experience in program management or multi-tasking environment.
• Must be able to work and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Must have strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and present data to all levels of the company in easily understandable formats.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies.
• Oversee engineering scope definition, RFQs, sourcing, design, manufacturing, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
• Manage and prioritize NM powertrain program requests and ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
• Lead NM facilities aspects including site prep and machine installation.
• Drive SIS methodologies and deployment of SPW tools and root-cause problem solving.
