Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer - UPE NA Facilities to lead manufacturing engineering for North America powertrain programs, guiding the team to develop and launch safe, high-quality, cost-effective processes across NM and NNM projects.

The role covers facility development, machine installation, SIS adaptation, and cross-regional support across the US, Mexico, and Canada. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline OR high school diploma/GED with minimum THREE (3) years of experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and translate technical data into executive summaries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and data analysis to identify root causes and drive closure.
• Experience with cost studies and strategic planning; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Manufacturing Engineering functions for North America powertrain programs.
• Oversee RFQ's, sourcing, design, manufacturing, and installation of facilities and equipment.
• Manage NM/NNM program facilities, site prep, and machine installation.
• Drive SIS initiatives and implement tools; lead root cause problem solving.
• Develop/advance process and equipment standards for facilities infrastructure.
• Support multiple plants across US/MX with cross-regional collaboration.
• Drive standardization across plants and partner in product design for manufacturing.
• Lead procurement, build, install, qualification, and launch of facilities.
