Position Summary

The University of North Carolina’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting a non-tenure track, open rank faculty member within the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The Division’s clinical programs include high‑risk obstetric care, perinatal consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetic services, invasive fetal therapy, and perinatal outreach. Division faculty members are active participants in the activities of UNC’s Collaborative for Maternal and Infant Health and in student and resident teaching. They provide subspecialty training for six Maternal‑Fetal Medicine fellows through an ACGME‑approved fellowship program.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Qualified individuals must have earned a MD or DO degree, completed a 4‑year ACGME‑approved OB‑GYN residency and a 3‑year ACGME or ABOG approved fellowship in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine. Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible/Active Candidate in both OB‑GYN and Maternal‑Fetal Medicine. Candidates must possess competence in maternal medicine and prenatal diagnosis, and have a commitment to excellence in medical education.
