Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a part-time shift in Carteret, NJ (Sat-Sun). The role pays $19.00 per hour and requires TWIC card or the ability to obtain one. A DMV check, a valid driver's license, and being over 21 are mandatory.

Daily pay is available. The position involves use of a company vehicle and providing a safe, professional environment. Qualifications include high school or equivalent, customer service experience, and the ability to work nights,

• Control access to client facilities and report maintenance and safety conditions.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to deter theft and observe unusual activities.

• Maintain uniform and grooming standards while in uniform.

• TWIC Card required; if you do not currently have one, you will be required to get
• Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!

This position requires the use of a company vehicle, and all applicants must be able to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles check. All applicants must be over 21 and have a valid driver's license.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrol assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 21years of age
• Basic computer skills and report‑writing experience
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary: $19.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
• Military or LEO experience is always preferred as well

License/ Certification:
