Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is seeking a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX. This position offers full-time or part-time options with shifts including evenings and weekends; a company vehicle is required.

The pay is $17.50 per hour with daily pay and growth opportunities within a veteran-owned, nationwide security company. Applicants must be 21+, hold an unarmed Guard Card, have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; background and DMV checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Active unarmed Guard Card required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to write clear reports.
• Willing to work mornings, swing, or nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass criminal background check and DMV check.
• Must handle stressful situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and report safety or maintenance issues that could affect clients or the public.
• Patrol client facilities on foot to maintain visibility and deter suspicious activity.
• Deter theft and vandalism through visible presence.
• Ensure a safe and professional environment for clients and staff.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards while in uniform.

  • Monday - Thursday 8:00 pm - 5:00 am
  • Friday - Saturday 8:00 pm - 5:00 am + Saturday 5:00 pm
  • Saturday - Sunday 5:00 am - 5:00 pm
• $17.50 per hour
• Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!

This position requires the use of a company vehicle; all applicants must be over 21 with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Armed Security Guard Responsibilities

• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrols are assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism visual deterrent
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum 21years of age
• An active unarmed Guard Card is required
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience
• Available to work morning, swing shift, or nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies
• Must be able to pass a DMV check

Pay and Benefits

• $17.50 per hour
• 50% paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision / and Free Life insurance for Full-Timeemployees available after the first 60 days.

Experience

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
