Job summary

Cascadia Global Security (CGS) is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for part-time weekend shifts in Carteret, NJ 07008. The role requires a TWIC card, valid driver's license, and the ability to pass DMV checks. The job includes a $19.00 per hour wage and daily pay options.

Applicants must be 21+ and able to pass background checks. The position involves guarding facilities, access control, and reporting safety concerns. Company vehicle use is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Access Control
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety
• Patrol assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities
• Theft and vandalism deterrence
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform
• Perform other related duties as required

This position requires the use of a company vehicle, and all applicants must be able to pass a Department of Motor Vehicles check. All applicants must be over 21 and have a valid driver's license.
