Job summary

Inter-Con Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join a highly trained team responsible for protecting critical facilities, venues, and assets. You will work across a variety of posts, performing surveillance, access control, and incident response with support from experienced firearms instructors.

A current guard card license is required, and you will be trained in safe weapons handling where applicable.

Qualifications

• Speak, read, and write English.
• All assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.
• Assigned personnel should possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the States and/or Countries of assignment to perform security officer duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide overt security services and incident response across client locations.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing safety and security at events.
• Monitor access and security at service locations and regulate badge issuance and visitor processing.
• Perform basic emergency first response and maintain security integrity of server rooms and perimeters.
