Job summary

Inter-Con Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to support critical facilities and public venues requiring enhanced security presence. The role includes monitoring access, conducting post checks, and patrolling assigned areas to deter threats and ensure safety.

Candidates must meet state licensing requirements, be at least 21 years old, and possess reliable transportation with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Physically capable of performing the assigned work.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet licensing requirements in the state of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Security Officer covers posts at customer counters, employee areas, gates, and entrances.
• Screens employees and visitors and checks personal belongings as required.
• Verifies identity badges and secures access points.
• Manages temporary badges and monitors entry points for security.
• Conducts roving patrols around perimeter, buildings, and parking areas.
• Responds to hazards and abnormal conditions and reports findings to supervisors.
