Job summary

Inter‑Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join a seasoned team protecting critical facilities, public venues and personal protection services.

You will be trained by qualified firearms instructors in safe handling and marksmanship, contributing to a broad spectrum of security services provided daily for diverse clients. The role emphasizes professional presentation, client-brand alignment, and a strong culture of safety.

Qualifications

• One year of security experience, military or police background.
• Pass a 5-panel drug test and a federal background check prior to placement.
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have a High School GED or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Document all physical security breaches/incidents and actions taken in response.
• Monitor life-safety equipment and document any deficiencies in writing to Security Management.
• Respond to all alarm conditions and any other indication of suspicious activities.
• Meet and greet all tenants, sign in visitors and contractors.
• Respond effectively to all calls for assistance.
• Must be sensitive to the client’s culture and strive to maintain a positive client brand image.
• Treat Client’s employees, invitees, and guests with the utmost courtesy and respect.
