Wisconsin Community Services is seeking a Security Technician to provide unarmed security staffing at the WCS Administration Building and Community Based Mental Health Programs in Milwaukee. You will help ensure safety for participants, staff, and visitors, conduct interior and exterior checks, and support shelter programs as needed.

The role requires de-escalation skills, strong communication, and knowledge of WCS programs.

Formación

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience working in a security role.
• Must clear Caregiver and Background checks and physical exam prior to hire.
• Must have valid driver’s license, automobile, and insurance sufficient to meet agency requirements

Responsabilidades

• Greeting and directing visitors and participants.
• Ensures visitors and / or participants are signing in and out.
• Have thorough knowledge of the programs offered within WCS and their locations.
• Conducting interior and exterior building checks.
• De-escalate situations that may arise with participants and removing them from the building / premises if necessary.
• Provide backup coverage for shelter programs as needed.
• Coordinates timely submission of reports and documentation such as accidents, incident reports, and / or medical response reports.
