Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed for a high-profile client site in Everett, MA. The role focuses on protecting people and property, enforcing policies, and directing on-site security staff during a Friday–Sunday 7am–3pm shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Must possess one or more: Associate’s degree or higher; Military service; Police cadets.
• Minimum of one year verifiable security experience.
• Two years of verifiable work experience with: excellent customer service; poise under emergency situations; ability to follow orders and write reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication; report writing.
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Problem solving skills.
• Coaching, mentoring, motivating skills; active listening.
• Encourage teamwork; assess situations; synthesize data; research and compile information.
• Mediating conflicts with tact.
• Setting and achieving goals; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per post orders.
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding duties.
• Cross-train officers to improve versatility and site efficiency.
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Make recommendations for security surveys and post orders.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure required training and screening elements are met.
• Maintain overtime to minimum or predefined level.
• Inspect personnel and performance for contract compliance.
• Assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders.
