Prosegur in La Jolla, CA is seeking an Unarmed Security Shift Supervisor to maintain a safe, secure environment for customers and staff. You will supervise a team of security officers, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with site policies while delivering reliable protection.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of security supervisor experience, a valid State Guard License, HS diploma or GED, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security supervisor experience.
• Must have State Guard License.

• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Reliable transportation and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Security Officers on designated shift.
• Oversee day to day site operations and review daily reports.
• Performance management, training, coaching, and counseling of staff.
• Maintain a strong visible presence to enforce rules and protect property.
• Conduct patrols, monitor premises, and report irregular activity.
• Prepare detailed reports and DARs; document incidents thoroughly.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise a team of Security Officerson designatedshift.

• Performance management

• Maintain a strong visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property.
• Conduct regular foot patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing securityassistanceasrequired.
• Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs).
• Monitor and report irregular or unusual activity, implementingappropriate measuresto address any identified risks.
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:

• Requiredminimum2 years of Security Supervisorexperience.
• Must have State Guard License
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
