Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Flex in Colorado Springs. You will patrol designated areas on foot or in vehicle, monitor for safety hazards, and respond to emergencies.

The role uses a shift-pickup platform so you can choose open shifts based on availability while gaining site experience across industries. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years’ verifiable experience), a valid driver’s license if driving, and a background/drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience required.
• Licensing as per state/local laws may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire dept. in case of emergency.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate incidents; maintain written logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
