Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate radios and console monitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security or safety risks.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of emergency.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit access for authorized persons and monitor property.
• Observe departing personnel to deter theft and ensure proper release of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
