Job summary

Inter-Con Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join a highly trained team supporting critical facilities and public venues. You will be trained by our firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship, while serving as an integral part of our security services.

Responsibilities include physical guard duties, event security, CCTV monitoring, badging, and visitor processing. A current guard card, drug test, background checks, and vehicle checks are required.

Qualifications

• Speak, read, and write English.
• Must pass a 7-panel drug test.
• Criminal history check required (fingerprints where permitted).
• Employment verification check required.
• Motor vehicle record checks required.

Responsibilities

• Physical Guard Services: respond to incidents; provide basic emergency first response; maintain and audit contact lists and access cards at locations without a staffed Account Manager.
• Event Security Services: coordinate and manage safety and security of client personnel and assets across events; crowd management; access control; perimeter control; incident response.
• CCTV and Alarm Monitoring: monitor alarms/CCTV; respond to breaches.
• Alarm Response: perform alarm response; maintain GSOC contact; assist with incident reports.
• Badging Services: manage client badge system; process new hires/replacements.
• Lost and Found Services: assist in managing lost and found; inventory; not liable unless policy violations.
• Visitor Processing: log and badge visitors; escort appropriately; maintain badge inventory.
• Perimeter Security: patrol and inspect building exteriors; monitor for unauthorized personnel and vehicle activity.
• Vehicle Access Monitoring: verify credentials; log vehicles; monitor entrances.
• Escort Services: ensure escorted individuals have access only to necessary areas.
