Job summary

Planned Companies in Washington D.C. is hiring Private Security Guards to patrol and perform safety checks across residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include gate house security, mobile patrol, fire watch and control room monitoring.

The role requires a New Jersey SORA license and a valid Driver's License, 2+ years of experience, CCTV experience, and training in First Aid and BLS, with strong reporting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard.
• Knowledge of local, state, and regional security guidelines.
• SORA license and Clean/Valid Driver's License required.
• Training in First Aid and Basic Life Saving (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Routine security & safety patrol of property and structures.
• Verify and track access credentials for residents, guests and deliveries.
• Ensure all exits and doors are secure.
• Monitor CCTV to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to alarms and incidents and provide security support.
• Report uninvited guests and unlawful acts to authorities.
• Submit daily surveillance and incident reports.
