Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time Facility Patrol position in Austin, TX. You will provide security, customer service, and a welcoming environment while patrolling assigned areas and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and completing required reports. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma, background check, and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail areas, entrances, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs per site procedures.
