Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Subject to drug screening where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/contractor/incident records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner following site procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and other security observations to supervision.
