GDI Security Services in Charlotte, NC is hiring Security Officers to protect a client facility. You will monitor entrances, patrol grounds, and respond to alarms while providing courteous assistance to employees and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to pass background checks and drug testing, and strong communication. Previous security experience is a plus; uniforms are provided and training is paid.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and report suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service and assist employees and visitors.
• Complete accurate incident reports and cooperate with local law enforcement when needed.

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay Rate: $17.00

GDI Security Services is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Security Officers at a client facility in Charlotte, NC. As a Security Officer, you will maintain a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client’s facility(s), employees, and visitors.

Schedule Availability:

• 1st Shift Officer
  Mon-Fri (6am-2pm)
• 2nd Shift Officer
  Mon-Fri (2pm-10pm)
• Saturday Officer
  (8am-1pm)
• Sat-Sun Officer
  (10pm-6am)

Responsibilities:

• Enforce company policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Shift Duty/Activity Log
  • Incident Reporting/Investigation
  • Security Operation Post Orders
  • Issue Reporting & Tracking System
  • Severe Weather
  • Post Incident Critique/Investigation
  • Fire Watch Requirements
  • Standardized Training Curriculum Policy
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, contractors, and all vehicles coming onto the site.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the premises are secure.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and report any suspicious activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees and visitors.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
