Job summary

Sunstates Security is seeking armed Security Officers for part-time work in the Charlotte, NC area. The role covers the 2nd and 3rd shifts (swing), Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a pay rate of $20.00/hr and weekly pay.

Applicants must have CCTV and video surveillance experience, a valid Armed Security Officer License, and be comfortable carrying a firearm. High School Diploma or GED required, plus strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have CCTV and video surveillance experience.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods and climb stairs.
• Valid driver’s license and armed security license/certification required.
• Comfortable carrying a firearm and maintaining professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform armed security duties on-site in the Charlotte, NC area.
• Monitor and operate CCTV and video surveillance systems.
• Provide professional security presence and respond to incidents.
• Follow Post Orders and SOPs with integrity and urgency.

Sunstates Security is hiring Armed Security Officers in the Charlotte, NC area. This is a part-time position covering 2nd and 3rd shift (swing shift), Saturday and Sunday, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. These positions offer a pay rate of $20.00/hr with weekly pay.

• Must have CCTV experience.
• Must have video surveillance experience
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Armed Security Officer License/Certification.
• Must be comfortable carrying a firearm.
• Must have security experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass physiological screening.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Good customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Must have professional and friendly demeanor.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
