Job summary

GDI Security Services in Charlotte, NC is hiring Security Officers to protect a client facility. You will monitor entrances, patrol grounds, and respond to alarms while providing courteous assistance to employees and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to pass background checks and drug testing, and strong communication. Previous security experience is a plus; uniforms are provided and training is paid.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies and procedures, including incident reporting and investigations.
• Monitor entrances and authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and report suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service and assist employees and visitors.
• Complete accurate incident reports and cooperate with local law enforcement when needed.
