Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Patrol in Ville Platte, LA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor site access, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role includes shift coverage and routine reporting responsibilities across a chemical/petrochemical site. Minimum requirements include a TSA TWIC, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening in accordance with applicable

Qualifications

• Must possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Applicants subject to a background investigation.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the chemical and petrochemical location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain required entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, document incidents and observations, and follow site requirements for protective equipment and restricted-area access.
