Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and staff.

Responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting observations. Requires high school diploma and background check; driver’s license only for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unauthorized access or suspicious circumstances.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and complete reports.
• Maintain professional communication with tenants, visitors, and onsite personnel.
