Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver to protect client property across Retail/Malls and Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, property conditions, and policy violations, and report observations through required channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and tenant service requests while helping to deter unauthorized activity.
