Job summary

Allied Universal in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Service to safeguard clients across a technology, media, and telecommunications campus. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and assist with incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role requires you to be at least 18, hold a high school diploma, and pass background/drug screenings where required. The schedule includes multiple shifts with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, data and equipment spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control issues or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.
