Job summary

Allied Universal in York, PA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Support to safeguard clients across diverse facilities. This role combines patrols, access control, and excellent customer service at an automotive location.

You will respond to incidents, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain logs. A valid driver’s license and CPR certification are required, with training provided to grow in a dynamic security team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, vehicle storage areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs of incidents, patrols, and observations.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.
