Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Preparedness in Sauget, IL. The role combines site security with driving responsibilities at a chemical/petrochemical location, requiring a valid driver’s license and strong customer service.

You will monitor access, conduct patrols, document observations, respond to incidents, and complete shift reports, contributing to safety and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Minimum age: 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, access points and perimeters; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor location access by checking credentials and controlling visitor/contractor entry per access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills and other situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs per Allied Universal and site requirements.
