Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Guard Route Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves patrolling automotive facilities, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control while delivering excellent customer service.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. You must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. CPR certification is preferred and a background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
