Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit in Tucson, AZ is seeking dedicated Unarmed Security Officers for a full-time role. Officers will monitor premises, enforce site rules, and maintain a safe environment by controlling access and patrolling client sites.

This position requires excellent customer service, the ability to work independently, and a professional demeanor. Valid Arizona Unarmed Guard Card and a clean MVR are required, along with pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have clean MVR and Arizona Driver’s License.
• Valid Arizona Unarmed Guard Card required.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Unarmed Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: Tucson, AZ

Wage:$16.50/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Must have a clear MVR and a valid Arizona Driver’s License.
• Valid Arizona Unarmed Guard Card required.
• Previous Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience a plus.
