Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner per reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports according to site procedures.

As a Unarmed Security Officer Train Station Graveyard in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
