As a Security Guard Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a public transportation location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support passengers, visitors, and staff through professional communication and customer service while reporting observations and responding to security-related concerns. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at rail stations, platforms, facilities, and surrounding transit areas.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned rail property, including station entrances, platforms, parking areas, pedestrian access points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations; report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate with dispatch, management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
