Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an on-site Security Officer in Overland Park, KS to protect clients across industries. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires compliance with background checks, drug screening, and state licensing where applicable. This full-time position offers ongoing training, with a schedule including daytime shifts and weekends as listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access control and alarm notifications; report irregularities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Complete activity logs and shift communications per site requirements.
