Job summary

Allied Universal in Culver City, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Facility Inspection. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver attentive customer service to clients and visitors.

Responsibilities include verifying credentials, responding calmly to incidents, documenting patrols and observations, and communicating findings to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as condition of employment.
• Drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter incidents and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of visitors, deliveries, and contractors entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership.
