Job summary

Allied Universal in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Security Officer for a Full-Time Unarmed Patrol detail. Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders, notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain orderly entry/exit procedures.
Document patrols and observed conditions accurately in site reporting systems.
