Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a business office in Boston, MA. Starting pay is $21.25 per hour with paid orientation and paid training. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while supporting customers and colleagues across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include reporting, responding to alarms, and maintaining logs. A high school diploma or equivalent and a background check are required, with licensing as dictated by local laws.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• No prior security experience required.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed where required).
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify authorized access.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire as needed.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
