Job summary

Constellis in Boston, MA is seeking a professional, high-level unarmed security officer to protect personnel, visitors and property across multiple buildings in the Boston area.

The position offers $28.00 per hour and requires meeting medical, physical and training standards, including CPR/AED/First Aid. You will conduct patrols, manage access, report incidents and coordinate via two-way radio. Regular attendance and responsiveness to alarms and emergencies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• US citizenship with Social Security card required.
• Current Driver's License.
• Current CPR/AED/1st Aid Certification.
• Must pass medical, physical and drug tests.
• Must pass psychological assessment.
• May lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Background screening requirements must be met.
• Training and certification must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for buildings by conducting perimeter and internal security.
• Protect personnel and property in a professional manner.
• Meet and deal tactfully with the general public and visitors.
• Screen and process visitors as required; identify and report violations.
• Conduct roving vehicle, bicycle, and foot patrols.
• Traffic control as necessary.
• Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Secure entrances and exits during emergencies.
• Maintain control of keys and lock combinations.
• Communicate via two‑way radio or company cellular phone.
