Triple Canopy is seeking professional unarmed security officers to protect personnel, visitors and property across multiple buildings in the Boston area. You will be responsible for maintaining perimeter and internal security, monitoring threats, and ensuring safety across a busy multi-building environment.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, U.S. citizenship with SSN, a valid driver’s license, and current CPR/AED/1st Aid certification.

Qualificações

• Must meet one of the listed experience paths: law enforcement officer, military, armed or unarmed security experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent; U.S. education requirements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with Social Security card; valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR/AED/1st Aid Certification.
• Must pass medical, physical, and drug tests; meet background screening requirements.

• Conduct roving patrols by vehicle, bicycle, or on foot; control entrances/exits during emergencies.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide professional, high-level unarmed security services for the personnel, visitors, and property of various buildings within the Boston, MA area.

COMPENSATION

Rate of Pay: $28.00/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide security for various buildings by conducting perimeter security, internal security, threat monitoring , etc.


• Protect personnel and property in a professional manner


• Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors


• Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors as required


• Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations


• Conduct internal and external roving vehicle, bicycle, and/or foot patrols


• Traffic control as necessary


• Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies


• Secure entrances and exits during emergencies


• Control keys and lock combinations


• Communicate and remain accessible via two-way radio or company issued cellular phone


• Understand and comply with all requirements, plans, policies, procedures.


• Observe and report all offenses/incidents including suspicious activity


• Complete all reports and paperwork as required


• Provide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies as necessary.


• Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with state and company guidance.


• Ensure safety requirements compliance and safe work practices.


• Support safety programs participate in Quality and Process Improvement programs.


• Perform other duties as assigned.


• Regular, in-person attendance is required.


• Work is typically based in and around a a busy multi-building environment subject to frequent interruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must meet one (1) of the below experience requirements.
  
  
  
  • Prior Law Enforcement Officer graduated from official Law Enforcement Academy OR
  
  
  • Prior military with honorable discharge at a rank of E4 or above OR
  
  
  • Four (4) years of licensed armed security officer experience (Less Than Lethal acceptable), with demonstrated advanced training in security skill sets and proficiencies and a security vendor service record free of adverse actions OR
  
  
  • Five (5) years unarmed experience, and (2) years armed experience (less than lethal acceptable), and/or (2) years honorable military service with honorable discharge
  
  
  
  


• Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent from a U.S. Accredited School. Foreign education must be evaluated to meet U.S. education requirements


• Must be a US Citizen with social security card


• Current Driver's License


• Current CPR/AED/1st Aid Certification


• Must meet all medical, physical, drug test standards


• Must be able to pass psychological assessment


• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent running, continuous and prolonged standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending without the aid of any walking assistance device. Must be physically capable of riding a bicycle and/or operating a motor vehicle throughout the course of a workday.May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather.
