Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer for full-time perimeter security at a commercial real estate site. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access, and reporting concerns, while adhering to site policies. Minimum 2 years of security experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal history considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws;
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious conditions and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, contacting appropriate personnel and responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in reports with professionalism.
