Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Full Time Security Officer in Grove City, OH, at $17.98 per hour. The shift runs Tue-Sat 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, delivering essential customer service and safety duties.

You will monitor access, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, document activities, and support site leadership. Minimum requirements include 18+, high school diploma, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading zones, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
