Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Medical Support) in Houston, TX. You will patrol, deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and documenting actions. Requires 1+ year security experience; background screening and drug testing apply; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally and document actions.
• Complete detailed activity and incident reports and share observations with leadership.
