Job summary

Allied Universal® in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence. You will monitor and patrol the distribution facility, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity as part of Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first team.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors and personnel.
• Communicate clearly and follow site procedures.
• Maintain situational awareness and report observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and delivery-driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
