Allied Universal® in Orlando, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence. You will monitor and patrol the distribution facility, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and delivery-driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in a timely manner.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity as part of Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first team.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
