Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Greenville, NC to monitor and protect a manufacturing site. You will perform unarmed patrols, verify access, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening, with a typical pay rate of $15.45 per hour. Full-time schedule, day and night shifts, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry, and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
