Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Awareness in Irving, TX. You will monitor and patrol a technology-focused site, support badge processes, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Responsibilities include handling access control, responding to incidents, and delivering professional customer service. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, high school diploma, and eligibility for background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology-focused location by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and critical infrastructure areas.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner following established procedures.
• Report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations to site leadership.
